C&A DocWriter Admin Client
For increased security, many of the C&A DocWriter administrative functions are available only through a special administrator's client application. This increases security because these functions are not available unless the client is installed on the users computer and the user has access to the computer. By restricting the distribution of the client, your organization ads another layer of protection for your system.
Admin Functions
The Admin client is used to perform administrative functions, such as:
- Creating new C&A DocWriter databases
- Creating Projects
- Assigning Users to Projects
- Assigning Users to Roles
- Setting User Permissions for a Project
- Viewing the access log
- Duplicating Databases
System Requirements:
The C&A DocWriter Admin Client is a Windows client application. It requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or later and must be able to connect to your C&A DocWriter database either locally or on a network. Internet access is not required.
Licensing:
The C&A DocWriter Admin Client is included with any C&A DocWriter desktop application license or web module license.
