C&A DocWriter Web Module

Starpoint C&A DocWriter is available as both a Windows Desktop client application and a Microsoft .NET web application.

C&A DocWriter is the only C&A management tool available as both a full-featured Windows desktop client and as a web-based application. The C&A DocWriter web module is not some cumbersome "webified" version of the desktop client, but a completely separate application. No client-side ActiveX controls are required. Mix and match web-based and Windows desktop applications at your convenience.

Newly Updated for .NET 3.5

The C&A DocWriter Web Module is an ASP.NET application in C#.  It has been newly updated for .NET 3.5 for 2010.  Source code licenses are available for you to add your own custom modifications.

System Requirements

The C&A DocWriter web module runs on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server or later using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 or later.  The ASP.NET Ajax Control Library (no cost) is required.  The web module is a Microsoft ASP.NET application.  C-Sharp source code license is available for customization.

Server configuration options are left to the customer and can improve security.  For example, by configuring IIS, you can restrict access based on IP address.  Secure HTTPS access can be implemented with your own security certificate.
